Daeran seems to be such a conceptually flexible character, and yet one I struggled to figure out on my first run. He’s obviously the best healer available, but he needs some secondary purpose. Otherwise, he’s just dicking around in combat waiting for someone to need healing, which is boring and a waste of action economy.
